Itinerary

Day 1

  • Arrive in Puri via train or flight. In the afternoon visit Jagannath Temple, a significant pilgrimage site. In the evening head to Puri Beach for a serene sunset experience.
Day 2

  • Morning: Visit Konarak Sun Temple. Afternoon: Chandrabhaga Beach, Udaygiri and Khandagiri. Evening: Enjoy leisure time on Puri Beach or visit the local market to shop for souvenirs like handicrafts, silver jewelry and Pattachitra paintings.
Day 3

  • Early Morning: Chilka Lake, the largest coastal lagoon in India. Famous for bird watching. Noon: Go to Nalabana island, Kalijal Temple. Afternoon: Enjoy Sea food at lakeside eateries. Evening: Relax at Puri Beach after a long day.
Day 4

  • Famous Artisan Village known for Pattachitra painting, Palm leaf art. Interact with the artists and observe their work of art. Afternoon: Visit another Jagannath temple Fundicha Temple. It’s a calm place. Evening: Relax and enjoy local food on beach.
Day 5

  • On the last day, enjoy the Sunrise at Beach. Do your last minute shopping at local market. Pack your luggage and head to your destination (train, flight or road).

Puri, a great famous place for nature lovers and devotees. Jagannath Temple is the most popular destination for pilgrimage. The Temple is always busy throughout the year though there are some special measures are taken at the time of Rathajatra. Other than temple there is great Beach itself at the bank of Bay of Bengal. You can go to Chilka Lake, the largest brackish water lagoon in Asia and second largest coastal lagoon in the world, Chilka is famous for bird watching and if you are lucky you can see Dolphin also. There is Raghurajpur village for Art Lovers. You can interact with the Artisan people also.
