Itinerary

Day 1

  • Pick up from Hasimara and transfer to Phuentsholing (30 mins). After making the tourist permit, drive to Thimphu (6 hrs/172 km). En-route enjoy waterfalls & Tala Dam views. On arrival, check in at the hotel and stay overnight in Bhutan’s capital city.
Day 2

  • Morning transfer to Punakha (90 km/3 hrs drive from Thimphu). En-route visit Dochu La Pass, Chhimi Lhakhang, Punakha Dzong, and the iconic Suspension Bridge. Return and overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 3

  • After breakfast, enjoy sightseeing in Thimphu: Durga/Shiv Temple, Buddha Point, Coronation Park, Takin Zoo, Memorial Chorten, Tashichho Dzong, and Simply Bhutan (traditional cultural show, closed on Tuesdays). Later, transfer and overnight stay at Paro.
Day 4

  • Morning sightseeing in Paro includes Rinpung Dzong, Kichu Lhakhang Monastery, Drukgyal Dzong (currently closed for tourists), Tiger’s Nest Monastery viewpoint, and Ta Dzong (Paro Museum). Immerse in Bhutan’s culture and heritage.
